My name is Guy Berenson. I was born and raised in Israel, on a kibbutz. I moved to Nigeria with my family at the age of 9. Three years later we returned to the kibbutz. I moved to England at the age of 22 for four years then returned to Israel, where I met my wife. My wife and I moved to Copenhagen Denmark where we still live.
Since I discovered my dads camera at the age of around 13, I was hooked on capturing and seizing special moments and people. By the age of 15 I was already busy developing my own photos, while my friends where busy playing football.
My passion is photography-and the stories behind the subject.
Today I am occupied with family portraits, private assignments, macro photography, wedding-photography, architecture, landscapes, pets, and last but not least people from all walks of life.
I love to keep my photos simple and as natural as possible without any great compositions or remastering in photo-shop, and let the subject tell the story.
Mainly I use my Canon camera with a different variety of lenses. I work both outdoors and indoors depending on the assignment. I have my own home studio with basic lighting equipment, and I use different studios around Denmark, which I use on a need to need basis.
Photography is everything to me and I therefore take extra time in planning the shoot. No matter how big or small, if its a fashion, portrait or a wedding shoot. I will deliver nothing but the best.
